!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Found this baby on my daily craigslist browse. I don’t remotely like trucks but I would TOTALLY whip this sucker. There is a special place in my heart for the Syclone, the F-150 Lightning, and the SRT Ram- BUT NOT THE RAPTOR THE RAPTOR IS STUPID.
If it were mine I’d get rid of those wheels though. Not my style. I’d get some hod rod smoothies or something else weird and cool. And that engine bay looks a bit scary...
I’d rather have a Typhoon, but this thing is sweeeeet. I thought it was a V6 though? Seller has it listed as a V8...

Pretty sure it’s turbo V6 like the typhoon

Kinja’d mate.

Should be turbo V6, unless seller has a regular S10 that’s been V8 swapped and had the Syclone body kit installed (which would not be a small expense, if memory serves correct).

Rightly so. And yes, it’s a turbo V6. Unless...
...that isn’t a real Syclone. It might just be a Sy-clone. Note the painted skirts as opposed to the stock raw plastic ones, the cowl hood, the wheels. I just don’t understand why someone would molest a Syclone like that. But for the scoop underneath I’d say this guy built himself a fake with an 350 swap. Maybe he actually swapped a V8 into a Syclone? That’s another possibility. He’s messed up the exterior of a rarity. Mechanical changes probably wouldn’t faze him.
EDIT: Now that you’re un-kinja’d, I checked the VIN... it’s a Syclone. A highly modded Syclone. The engine is too short for a V8, It’s the turbo 6. But check this thread out. It’s a scam.

Raptor isn’t stupid.

There’s a VIN in the listing picture so you could find a way to check.

Really? The link and pic are showing up fine for me. KINJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

As several pointed out, it should be a turbo V6, if factory
-
but that looks like a 6 in the photo, I think. In addition, I
’
m *pretty sure* that all Syclones (and Typhoons) were slushboxes
-
no 3 pedal. I
’
m wondering if this is the real deal, but it looks sweet
-
I like the aftermarket rims on it. EDIT
-
just realized the wheels are chrome, so nevermind my comment about liking them.

Interesting! I Seems like it’s a fake after taking a close look...

Yes it is.

Just a straight-up scam. The VIN belongs to Syclone #303, which that ain’t. Cool how everyone knows everyone with something that rare

Correct. All auto/AWD.

Scam. VIN doesn’t belong to the truck.

User name checks out. These things were awesome when they came out. One of the quickest “cars” on the road, partly because they were about the only fast cars putting power to 4 wheels.

Still bloody fast by today’s standards too.

I dance around my computer chanting “KINJA! KINJA! KINJA!” until the images show up. It usually works.

Yup, looks to be a straight scam. It is listed for freakin’ dirt cheap if it was a legit Syclone.

The owner certainly is.
